Transforming Emotion through Mindfulness Emotions add colour and depth to life but they can also be overwhelming causes of difficulty. How can we open ourselves to experience the beauty and richness of life without being lost in habitual reactions or carried away by strong emotions? Mindfulness practice develops the calm that is necessary to see clearly what is driving our intentions. Continued awareness will free us from reactive patterns, allowing us to respond moment by moment with clarity, ease and joy.
